THE FRIENDS OF THE LIGHT HOUSE SHELTER meets regularly to plan several special events that take place over the course of the year. Some events, like our Bountiful Harvest, have been held annually for 20 years!

Our main events include Bountiful Harvest, Golf Tournament, GumboFest, Pumpkin Patch, and Ride for Shelter. Recently, we began a brand new annual event called KidWalk that will benefit several charities in the area, including the Boys & Girls Clubs of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County, Box of Rain, Anne Arundel County CASA ( Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children ), and VisionWorkshops.

Some of our other events are hosted by local businesses and community groups with the support of the FLHS.
